"Precious things lost are transmutable. They refuse oblivion." -Andrew Lam

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."
-Benjamin Franklin (1706 - 1790), Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759

I've only done a few great things so far ~ but I've been lucky enough to see the great deeds of others. I guess I've become more of an accepting person since I moved up here and started living with roomates; comes with the territory. Let's see now...I've always been interested in hearing/reading stories from others. I used to write stories using my friends as models for the main characters, just for fun. I'd like to start writing and painting again. I've always been fascinated by anatomy and biology; I think I would've pursued something in the medical field if I didn't faint every time I see blood. I've got a soft spot for nature, art in any form, and photography. I'm always excited to learn and teach. I don't really keep up with music trends and tend to download anything my friends enjoy. I love video games, cosplaying, role playing, fantasy, anime, and science fiction. Anyone truly passionate about something, that thing that makes their eyes light up and smile, is admirable to me. I'm the kind of person who is amused by simple things and whose thoughts are generally censored. I'll try to work on that.

Suddenly I have more time on my hands. This means my list of favorite movies will grow! Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, Pride & Prejudice, Jurassic Park, While You Where Sleeping, Pleasantville, American Beauty, Momento, Stranger Than Fiction

"Many highly intelligent people are poor thinkers. Many people of average intelligence are skilled thinkers. The power of a car is separate from the way the car is driven." Edward De Bono 1933-, 'Thinking Process'
